Hello:

I noticed the volume intensity for any soft/(p) piano "Dynamics" is definitely TOO soft to be heard clearly over an already maximized volume of the Play Panel; while any loud/(f) forte "Dynamics" needs to be reduced constantly/manually from my computer.

Could you adjust/fix the way the volume playback sounds for all "Dynamics Palettes" accordingly?

Thank you.

the dynamics symbols (p - f - ff etc.) have an "velocity" property. They influence the midi velocity of played notes.
You can change the meaning of every dynamic symbol.

I've been having the same problem. I add the dynamics to the score, but the difference between the 'f' and 'p' dynamics is to great. I've tried selecting a 'p', for example, then selecting every occurrence before changing the velocity settings, and applying it to the system, but it doesn't seem to affect the other 'p's in the score. Seems a bit laborious to have to select each dynamic setting individually. But maybe I'm doing something wrong . . . ?

As explained the velocity parameter for each dynamic is pretty standard. There is currently no way to change the velocity parameter for all the "p" in your score. However, next version of MuseScore will let you adjust the velocity of a "p" and then put it back to in the palette, so every next "p" you add will have the velocity you chose.

Another feature request could be the ability to select all the "p" dynamics from a score to change some of their properties. It would be an addition in the "Select More" dialog. If you feel it would make a good addition, you can file a feature request.

I close this bug since there is not much to do about it.

Sorry for the delayed response. To clarify, I was using my computer's sound system (and basic ear plugs) to "playback" these "Dynamics". So I don't know if the issue is related to the Windows 7 compatibility/the MuseScore application/software program itself/whatever Thanks.

@lasconic : Okay, thanks for the info. It's good to know that the option to select and modify all"p", for example, in a score will be part of the next version, which I look forward to :-)
