Capella to MusicXML conversion (or perhaps MusicXML export) breaks title alignment
Import of the attached .cap file renders correctly in musescore (ie title in correct place). Save as a MusicXML file and then open that .xml file (also attached) has the title and other head text over the beginning of the stave. Not sure if this is a .cap import issue or if it is musicxml export issue. Happens on 2.0 and 2.1

In the source file is Stave Text?
That title is staff text after Capella import, with some large X/Y Offset. That Offset seems to have gotten lost in the XML export
Jojo is right. The simple explanation is that MuseScore's layout export to MusicXML is incomplete. That applies to staff text too, so the offset gets lost on import / export.
Note that I would have expected a title to be imported as a title and not as staff text, but I cannot judge whether that is an error in the Capella file or in MuseScore's Capella importer.
