Much too much trailing space added after notes with ChordLines

Windows 7, GIT commit: 3543170

1) open attached score
2) click the G in bar 5, the bottom staff
3) apply fall or doit

Result: much too much extra trailing space added

4) click B in bar 1, top staff
5) apply plop or scoop

Result: again, much too much trailing space added - not after the symbol but after the note itself, which didn't need *any* trailing space

There is unnecessary extra space added no matter what, but using the specific symbols with the specific notes suggested by my steps shows the problem most acutely.
