crash when deleting last character of a staff text

Windows 7, GIT commit: 7ade02b

1) new score
2) add staff text: "Hi"
3) while in edit mode, hit backspace twice delete the text one character at a time

Result: crash

Only removing characters one at time seems to do this. Select the text then hitting backspace does not.
