In the downloaded handbook pdf, the "Getting started" section is in the wrong order. It should be at the beginning but now comes after "Basics." Everything else is unchanged.
I suspect the weighting mechanism doesn't work properly (and IIRC I've seen this already myself on a different set of pages), esp. with negative numbers. I've change the weight to be in positive numbers now, let's see whether the next PDF generation tonight gets it right
The handbook PDF is directly derived from the print friendly HTML version. So if the changes are reflected in there, they will be as well on the handbook.
Hmm, the English handbook didn't get generated tonight, the German did and does have the desired order now.
The order in the HTML is right and was before my change though, seems there the weighting did/does work?
Edit: ah, the English handbook is new just now too, and in the right order.
The order is correct now, so let's mark this fixed. I also fixed some issues with wrong headline levels (### vs ####) playing badla with the index, esp. that of the printer friendly HTML handbook: https://musescore.org/en/print/book/export/html/36546
There are some more issues with the weighting mechanism and whether or not it should be global or per language, but these should better be discussed elsewhere

Also, and this is quite bad, that weighting system seems to be global now and not per language like it used to be.
@geetar thanks for reporting this. Checking into it.
@Jojo The weighting system is most likely global indeed, but I will verify.
My changes to the weighting yesterday did not resolve the issue in today's PDF handbook
I'm pretty sure the weighting system used to be localized and I'm also pretty sure it is not anymore

Hope I get this right:
Printer friendly HTML handbook: https://musescore.org/en/print/book/export/html/36546
Starting point for that is https://musescore.org/en/node/36546 AKA https://musescore.org/en/handbook-0
