Tried to print yesterday and score had lines and sticks but no note heads or clefs. Tried re installing fonts but no difference. I am using osx 10.13.4 on a mac book pro and an iMac. Both computers have the same problem. Never had a problem before. What is wrong?
Thanks Trom 45
This may be the problem. The fonts loaded on the computer are probably not as complete as the fonts included in MuseScore. If the fonts are installed on your computer, MuseScore will use the installed font rather than the internal font included in MuseScore.
You should not have any version of any of these fonts installed at all. If you do, please delete them. Most like having one of these fonts installed on your system ifs the cause of the problem - MuseScore needs to be able to reference its own internal font and not be confused by a conflicting version on your system.
Muscore does not print clefs or note heads on osx 10.13.4 (beta)

Please report the problem to Apple. You are using a beta version of their OS and a stable version of MuseScore. The problem appeared when you installed the Apple upgrade. Hopefully, Apple will fix the problem on their side.
For the record, there are two beta 2 of macOS 10.13.4 17E150f and 17E150g. Which one do you run ?
Same problem here, aparently after upgrading Mac OSX to beta.
Current version here: 10.13.4 bèta (17E160e)
Musescore version 2.
Happens as well with file-> export -> pdf as with print -> pdf.
Able to reproduce it with nightly 2.2 (MuseScoreNightly-2018-02-26-1432-2.2-e584543.dmg), seems to be fixed in nightly master (MuseScoreNightly-2018-02-26-1452-master-357f109.dmg).

That's not good... It means the interaction between Qt 5.4 and whatever changed in Mac OS 10.13.4 is fixed by Qt 5.9....

What OS? Do you have the MuseScore fonts installed somewhere? Mscore- and MscoreText.ttf, Bravura and BravuraText.ttf?

Checked that no fonts installed in font folder under applications and still no luck. Have installed 1.3 and that works fine printing.

is it macOS 10.13.4 beta 1 (build 17E139j ) or beta 2 (build 17E150g)?

Came up again in https://musescore.org/en/node/269476, along with a sample PDF that shows that there are no fonts embedded. This would certainly explain the issue.
Same with the PDF attached to #269438: PDF export problems with High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta 2
