If you enter a couple of Staff Text, Expression Text and System Text items and right click one and choose Select>More... You will always have
Element Type: Staff Text
Same subtype: ??
in the dialog box. This makes it impossible to select different types of text for any purpose.
Comments
In fact, if you do select / more for another text type, like a chord symbol or title, you do get a valid text style value in Select / More, but upon checking that box and hitting OK, you end up with all elements of that type selected regardless of text style. Which is to say, it seems the subtype field is not working for most at all; it behaves like "all similar elements". It works for lyrics because subtype is mapped to erse number instead of text style
This is in libmscore/stafftextbase.h:50 - it's marked as TODO::ws. So this is a job for Werner I think...
