Cannot move item when multibar rests are shown
When multibar rests are shown: system text, rehearsal marks, lines contained within the multibar rests cannot be moved. You have to turn off multibar rests then guess their new position and then re-enable multibar rests.
I think I should be able to move items contained in multibar rests.
To clarify, I can select the item, but when I move it it springs back to it's original location (while multibar rests are enabled).

That's because so many items are close together. Move one selectable item down (or up) a bit (temporary), and you will be able to grab other things and move them.

Maybe, in 2.3.x there are "bounding boxes" around items, which overlap each others (the one around the multirest is quite big?). Then it's impossible to select others (under lying). In 3.0a, that's ok, you can select items which are close to mm-rests.

I understand the selection part, however, you can select the item to move, but after moving it just springs back to it's original location, you can only move it when the multibar rests are not enabled.
I would say (I can reproduce) that it's another aspect of: #276028: Subsequent mm rests of a mm rest = 1 can't be stretch if minimum of empty measures is set to 1
Yes, the number "1" shown in the example is a giveaway. Normally you wouldn't use multimeasure rests for single measures, and in that normal case things work fine. But if you do enable multimeasure rests for single measures for whatever reason, there is indeed this glitch. So this is a duplicate of the bug report mentioned above.

I can't make the first of several measures part of a multi measure rest if there is system text in the main score, so there's no way to test this. The same happens in both the score and parts.
Should be perfectly possible, in 2.3 at least (haven't tried in 3.0). For instance, use the default untitled score, enter system text in any measure, press "M". You get a multimeasure rest starting at that measure.
Sorry, I missed this was in 2.3. I didn't expect any more 2.3 bugs to be discussed if they don't affect 3.0.
