minimum steps to reproduce:

Create a score with 3 staves
Make the second staff invisible
Put some notes in the first measure of the two visible staves
Select the visible measures with notes in both instruments and copy (I only tested with ctrl+c)

Title Copying and pasting invisible staff leads to crash Copying an empty measure leads to crash

As I continued my testing I discovered that copying and pasting any empty measure will lead to the crash. Since the invisible staves are empty, they are causing the crash.

I tested with filled measures on either side of the empty measure (has a measure rest in it) and with an isolated measure rest. If you change the rest (like 2 quarter rests and a half rest in 4/4), the crash will no longer happen.
