Moving staves up after adding new instrument causes crash to desktop

I've got Flute I & II, decided to add Piccolo. Added a stave, moved it above Flute I(first stave added) and... crash.
This seems to happen often, but randomly. It happened to me in an entirely different score at least once.

EDIT: The crash happens when I save after moving the piccolo up.

More reproducible: off of this score, go to the instrument dialogue, move the piccolo up, then hit ctrl+z.

Then I get a crash.
Anyway, something is up with moving staves around that causes crashes.
