In the mixer there is a slider control for panorama below the volume slider.
Shouldn't the German translation be "Panorama" instead of the confusing word "Nachführen" ?

I don't speak German and my translator failed to translate Nachführen. In English Panorama is a noun that indicates a very wide area being seen (or sometimes heard). In English, the word "Pan" indicates that the sound is being increased in one direction while decreased in the other direction. I hope this help to clarify the meaning and leads to the best translation.
If you really insist ontranslating it (it's a technical term used in German as well) the word 'Position' would be much better.
In Ms 2 it was abbreviated with Bal. for "Balance".
There is really no need for changing that in Ms 3

If this is about “where in the stereo room the instrument sounds” then Balance is good and the others, all of them, aren’t.

On many equalizers, the term Pan is used in English rather than Balance, probably because the mean the same thing in terms of sound production and Pan is a complete word where Bal. is an abbreviation.

I was talking about the term that should be used in German, “Pan” is a pan flute there, “Balance” is sufficiently understood.

I didn't realize "Balance" was the word in German.

The confusion (on my part) came from the verb 'to pan' like used in "Pan Score"
