when I enter repeated notes through my midi keyboard the first note disappears when I enter the same note
following the first. For example: I enter a D, the another D.....the first becomes a rest. This is an impossible situation. Thanks,

Which version are you using? I remember this problem back in 3.0.something
See #280715: Identical subsequent notes disappear on MIDI input - if it's that, it was actually fixed for 3.0.1. If you're using something more recent, it's something different, and we'd need a score and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
