Musescore does not include a Carillon instrument.
Please consider adding it.
I added a suggestion for the instrument setup in carillon.xml.
I based ranges and stave setup on tips from this document:

http://carillon.vrvisuals.com/COMPCARVID.pdf

I mapped it to the Tubular bells midi channel, as that seems to be the general midi instrument that sounds closest to an actual carillon.

There's a pretty neat soundfont available too, https://blog.fooster.io/carillon-soundfont/res/ClemsonCarillon.sf2
I'm not sure if this could be added and how to set up that in the instrument but if that would be possible too, then that'd be great.

Adding the instrument would be possible and easy, adding the sound for it would not, as there is no such sound in GM and we probaby can't just invent one (the slot/channel/program or whatever it is called).

Hmm, your xml usese tubular bells / chimes as the sound? That'd be possible indeed

Edit: I should really read better ;-)

BTW: you can't just invent a musicXMLid, it needs to match an existing one from https://github.com/w3c/musicxml/blob/gh-pages/schema/sounds.xml, here metal.bells.carillon

It definitly doesn't belong into the common genre, probably into "World Music".
