I note that I create tuplets initially with XML such as beginning at line 193 in the attached file
I cannot find a method to select the tuplet once this is read by Musescore and reverse the properties

Normally you'd click the number or bracket. If both are hidden, try selecting one of the notes then clicking the Tuplet button in the Inspector.
Here's the referenced file. The issue is resolved though. The tuplet button deals with it. Thanks.
And just for the futur: please use the forum for support questions, and the issue tracker only for confirmed bugs
Thanks - I note that from the dashboard, I did not seem to be able to access 'the forum'. What I found on the community button was not a place where support questions could be asked. I have finally found it and will stop mixing up the issue now.
The issue tracker isn't there either.
