Adding bracket when nothing selected sets its span to 0

Steps:
1- Create a score with multiple instruments (e.g. three flutes)
2- Press "Esc" so that nothing is selected
3- Drag and drop a bracket from the palette to the first staff

Expected result:
The bracket is added to the first staff

Actual result:
The bracket does not appear. It is added, but its "span" parameter (i.e. the number of staves it spans) is 0. (You can see this it in the mscx file, if saved)

It works as expected in MuseScore 3.4.2.

Workaround:
Range-select anything in the score before drag and drop. (Click-select and Ctrl+click select give the same result as when nothing is selected).

Note:
Without drag and drop, you can add a bracket only in presence of a range selection. In that case the bracket is added to the staff with the active range selection.
