Can you please provide more info, e.g.

  • Steps on how to reproduce? (I am unfamiliar with the tie tool (other than pressing the “+” key or the tie button)
  • Operating system
  • Can you confirm that you are using the procedure at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/ties to add ties, and try any of the other methods for creating ties, to determine if they work for you (e.g. you have a work-around).
  • Before logging a issue, I usually discuss it in the forum first, to figure out if I am maybe doing something wrong, if a reset to factory defaults may not fix the issue. Can you try that please?
