Procedure -
Double click Musescore Icon to start app.
File > Quit ... Crash

It seems that this was reported a while back ...

It looks like it's related to the Native Instruments dll "rig3asio32.dll"
Recommendation is to uninstall Native Instruments software !?
It's a workaround but not really an acceptable solution.
Just as well the conflict isn't with a Windows dll :-)
