Staff properties play transposition does not work
With r2898
- Open [[http://musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/issues/chordnames.mscz|]this file]
- Right click on a measure -> Staff properties
- Change octave to +1
- Enter a C below the staff in measure 4
Expected result: the whole staff should sound one octave higher
Actual result: the last added note sounds one octave higher than the C in second measure
Comments
It sounds as expected after a save and reload or after clicking on the Concert Pitch button a couple times.
Is this fixed?
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4338) - Mac 10.4.11.
In the latest stable release 1.2 my experience is as follows:
1. No change in playing when changing transposition even after Bolton's advices
2. Transposition is reflected in concert pitch but wrong
2.a- Transposition up causes transposition down and vice versa
My guess is that you are not doing it correctly, since the feature does work correctly in my experience. I wold suggest starting a thread in the support forum explaining how you are trying to do things (eg, post a ample score and seps to reproduce) and we should be able to say where you are going wrong. It's better not to use the issue tracker for discussion of how to do things.
First, the issue tracker did not state that the problem was fixed. Second, there is an entry with doubts on that. Third, I checked the advice to make it working with no success. My guess is that it is still an issue, or again.
But I followed your advice to put it to the forum: You find it there with the same title and the attachments to reproduce the effect.
Definitely seems fixed, probably has been for a long time.
