Can you give detailed steps to reproduce the crash? In particular how did you try to use slurs (drag and drop, double click)?

What revision number are you using? What operating system? Does this happen with all notes or just a specific note in a specific score? If the latter then please attach the score. How are you selecting the note?

A workaround to enter slurs is documented at Slur
version 0.96 beta (0.95 couldn´t make new key signatures)
when I double click on the slur in the palette, nothing happens(a note is highlighted). When I drag and drop it crashes..

It crashes in more than one score
I select the note by clicking on it
Try upgrading to the second beta (r.2811). I'm not able to reproduce the bug you describe.
thomas hedegaard, is this bug still present for you in the latest prereleases?
