Works for me. Anything unusual about the folder you are loading from (on a network or removable drive, symbolic link in path, etc)? Anything unusual about the score you loaded (not an MSCZ file, imported from an older version of MuseScore, etc)?
I don't think that is something inusual. It's a second physical Drive with D: letter.
I try to change to C:, same behaviour.
I noticed that many time ago but at this time i don't take care about it.
How about the score itself? Created from scratch in 2.0 versus imported?
Can anyone else reproduce this?
Hello.
i go to try on my working computer today.
and if it work, i try more accuratly at home and if already occur, i update my devkit to find where is the problem.
Robert.
Yes, I think I can reproduce this - I'm opening 1.x and 2.0 scores.
It's been like this for a while, I think, and this morning actually, I was wondering if it should be filed - I then saw this issue.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build f953fe7 - Mac 10.7.5
Hello,
I test at work. One hard Drive and Windows 7, 4adbfbb
1 - File open , directory is default : "C:\Users\3102378\Documents\MuseScoreDevelopment\Partitions"
2 - Change directory to "C:\tmp"
3 - Load Score.
4 - I want to load another score in same directory, File open and directory is also the default "C:\Users\3102378\Documents\MuseScoreDevelopment\Partitions" and not "C:\tmp".
I think is not the expected behaviour. Tell me if i'm true.

Works fine for me on Linux, but not on Windows.
Hello,
I find the bug. In windows MuseScore use Native open file box and MuseScore don't save Path. If i force the use of the non native dialog. All work fine.
