One of my recent scores with SATB plus Piano has various Cres & Decres hairpin markings. When a SATB-only part score is prepared from this some of these markings move horizontally by up to several bars to where they don't belong. I understand the layout doesn't necessarily remain exactly between the full and part scores, but in this case is made worse as these markings seem to be impossible to select and reposition, or even delete. And they are not included as part of the measures they have moved to, as shown by looking at the measure properties which highlights everything in the measure but these moved markings. This problem may be associated with the fact that multi-measure rests (which though allowed do not occur on the full score because there is something in the piano part only), do show on the SATB part score.

Comments

My guess is the crescendos were added incorrectly in the first place - attached to one measure, then dragged to appear as if they are in a different measure. That won't work if the layout changes - the amount you need to drag to get it to look as if it is in the other measure would be different. So probably, the solution will be to delete those markings then re-add them properly - attached to the actual notes they are supposed to cover.

But indeed, we can't say for sure without the actual score.
