When you insert a section break the following things should happen

  1. The pause should be set to 3 seconds
  2. The next system should default to long instrument names
  3. Measure numbers (displayed) should be reset to 1
  4. The time signature should be repeated
  5. The key signature should be reinserted as a new key signature

  6. does not happen. The previously inserted key signature still applies to the measure after the section break. As a result, if you insert a key signature with fewer sharps or flats, naturals are displayed in the key signature. This should never happen after a section break. The first measure in a new section should be as though it were its own song.

Comments

I cannot reproduce except in the case where you are changing to C major. Otherwise I get no accidentals regardless of the specific change or the settings in Format / Style / Accidentals. True for you too?

I can confirm. I get naturals on this and can't even switch them off via inspector, just make invisible and with that it still uses space, so looks ugly.
