Create a blank score and insert a pedal line. Open the inspector, turn off autoplacement and change the position of the pedal (e.g. type 1.00sp for X and 5.00sp for Y). Save the file and then close and reopen it. The position of the pedal has been reset and autoplacement has been turned back on.
