Difficult to select spacer in 1st measure of a system using brackets
- a score with more that one instrument, combined with a 'normal' bracket with wings, e.g. using the close score SATB template
- add spacer (up or down) to the 1st measure of a system, between 2 staves combined by such a bracket
- double click the spacer to be able to change its length.
Expected result: the spacer gets selected and put into edit mode and you can change its length
Actual result: the bracket gets selected (and put into edit mode)
Came up in https://musescore.org/de/node/61621, confirmed with MuseScore 2.0.1 as well as the latest self-built version, 4633659, Windows 7 (Enterprise, 64bit)
Workaround: double click a bit right of the spacer (or at the far tip of the arrow wing) or add a spacer to the 2nd measure of a system.
Comments
A curly brace is not causing this issue, nor does that thin square bracket, only the 'normal' bracket with wings
Might be related to #25260: Stems for flagged notes difficult to select, impossible to put into edit mode and/or the bbox for that bracket 'overlapping' the spacer, using the -d option indeed shows this overlapping
