Making a pro drum set lead sheet for Surrender by Cheap Trick
I am attempting to make a simple drum lead sheet that actually looks like a drum chart, and also plays correctly in Musescore. I am having two issues that I could use help with on this chart:

I'm having a problem with Volta. The first ending should DC 3x and then continue on to the 2nd ending. For some reason, when you play this file back at bar 33, you will note that the playback head jumps to bar 52. I am not sure exactly what the issue is. (see MSCZ below)

Multi measure repeats. At bar 2 (which is labeled 7), I made the repeat bar playback 6 times. The problem is, I want normal barlines, not repeat barlines (which is not ordinary). I hid the repeats, in the hope of normal barlines when I export to PDF. But instead there are no barlines. Is there a way to make the bar play multiple times without the repeat barlines? (See MSCZ and PDF below)

I like your goal of making it actually look like a drum chart :-). With that in mind, I'd strongly recommend getting rid of all the non-standard things like the way you are attempting to create "fake" six-measure repeats etc. Just do the standard thing of actually showing six individual measure repeat signs, with number above to show the count. That is going to much less confusing to read. If you really want to create this sort of notation, I'd say, don't worry about playback and just create a separate copy of the score for playback with repeats written out.
But if as an intellectual exercise I needed to try to make this work, I'd probably do what you are doing and then insert normal-looking barlines from the Symbol palette (press "Z" to display).
However, you're still going to have problems with your main repeat, since repeats within repeats are not standard notation either. That's why your volta doesn't work. Neither MuseScore nor human musicians would know which start repeat you want to go back to - there simply is no musical standard for this.

Marc - I think I've done what you've suggested. However, I am still having difficulties with the volta. When it reaches the third ending, it jumps to "E". It should go to the top, and play through to the fourth ending. Any idea what I've done wrong?
Also, I thought that a DC or DS would send you to that point to repeat and are independent of other repeats. The other repeats within the section leading up to the DC or DS would be played through every time you play through to the next ending (volta). Is that really incorrect notation?

measure 35's play count need to be 4, as there is a 4th volta. The entire repeat section is to be played 4 times, the 1-3 volta takes care of those measures to play only 1st-3rd time

Jojo - I was trying to make a 2-bar volta. When I changed measure 35 to 4, it then played measures 34-35-36 in succession on the 4th volta–when it should've skipped over 34-35 and jumped straight to 36. So I tried changing it to a 1-bar volta at 35, with a play count of 4. Which for some reason works (attached).
But what would I do if my volta was actually a multi-bar phrase?

You extended the volta incorrectly - it's still a one bar volta, you just dragged the end point to look like it covered two bars. You need to actually attach the volta to both bars - eg, add it by selecting both bars then double-clicking the palette icon, or properly extending it after adding it by double-clicking and using Shift+right.
