Project
Hi,
Create a new score with lyrics in a specific font.
Save the style with Format, Save Style.
Create a new score with some lyrics, and load this style, to apply your 'specific font' to the text.
See, that the saved font is not applied to your new score.
Thanks
Theo

Not related to the current nightly (same behavior with 2.0.3)
I observed this recently indeed (for other thing)
It works by this way: after loading, the saved font is applied, by returning in "Text styles", selecting in the list "Lyrics Odd Lines", eg, and by ticking "System flag"
But I don't know if it's the good way, or a bug, or if I forget something in the process?
It works if you then press the "Reset text to Style" button in the Inspector. Not sure if this is by design or not.
I cannot reproduce this in recent 3.x version. Seems to be fixed.
Probably because this here is a duplicate of the (now fixed) #277734: Applying font style to lyrics via toolbar does not work
I can reproduce though (with 536ff70):
in Format/Style/Lyrics set the one or both lyrics styles for Font from Free Serif to MuseJazz Text
Then enter lyrics text -> it shows in Free Serif.
Going to Format/Style/Lyrics again shows Free Serif, so that change just doesn't get saved
Same/similar issue BTW with Tuplets/Numbers, Bends and Measure numbers, Long and Short instrument name, which all used to have their own text style in 2.x
See attached score, where I tried to use all the defaults and then change to MuseJazz and all text fonts to MuseJazz Text via the Format/Style dialog
It's a different bug fixed in last commit. Changing font faces in the style editor had no effect.
Thanks! (92156aa)
Still doesn't work for Measure numbers though
Edit: I take that back...
