The attached score results in some overlapped lyrics, especially with punctated rhythms.

The question is: can you reproduce from scratch (so, a new score) with the same measure (notes, rhythm) with 4316435 ? (see image below, and attached test file: voice.mscz)
By now, I cannot.

When this file has been created? Maybe there is some days? Eg it works on October 24 with: ffb45f3
not the next day, with f7d9650.
So, it's only an assomption by now. If this file has been created there is some days, then it has "worked" with other nightlies, it is probably difficult to disentangle this issue.

I note also that by removing the tab staff, and then saving the file, the issue disappears: Kremberg2_ 2 staves.mscz
So, maybe also related with the other issue #139016: Instruments lose their clef if in the last note line showing of clef is disabled which appears in the same file and also with the nightly of October 24: f7d9650

Working assumptions.

Ok, I can reproduce now from scratch. Seems to be due a mismatch between the rhythm of the top staff and another one in second staff (eg lute). But need further investigation to understand exactly in which circumstances (involved rhythms)

True, the new version fixes this.
But wouldn't it be senseful to shift automatically the syllable under the 16th to the left and the one under the half note slightly to the right in order to have a more compact sight of notation?

In the screenshot I have shifted the text of the 1/16th note -0,50 (to the left) and the half note to the right 2,00 to the right, which overall gives a better sight IMHO.

You are welcome at your discretion to make such subjective editorial decisions, but the standard rules of music notation call for syllables to be centered or left aligned depending on whether they are hyphenated or not, and MuseScore obeys these standard rules. You can elect to break them if it serves your particular purpose of course, but MuseScore cannot be in the business of guessing on things like this - it needs to obey the rules.
