Glissando text doesn't appear for minims or lower values
1. Create 4/4 score.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Input two minims in the first bar.
4. Disable 'Note Entry'.
5. Drag glissando onto first note.
Result: Text doesn't appear.
Discussion: If you right-click the glissando and enter 'Glissando Properties', the 'Show Text' box is ticked. Only applies to a new score.

Is this a manifestation of the fact that gliss. doesn't show text if the line is too short? Try inserting a line break at the end of the fourth measure and see if that lengthens the gliss. line enough to let the text be seen. Still an issue, I agree, but slightly different.

The glissando text is not shown if there is no enough room to fit it.
If you want it to appear at all cost, increase the fitting of the measure or add extra space after the segment or chord of the initial note.
