Suppressing time signature in stave properties does not affect score layout.
I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a feature request, but I've used the bug category.
1. Create score and add a few notes
2. Stave Properties
3. Edit
4. Uncheck Show Time sign
5. OK, OK
Expected result: Score layout is changed to reflect the absence of a time signature.
Actual result: The space once occupied by the time signature is retained.

What should happen if there are several staves and only one has a missing time signature?
Now that is a poser.
Personally I can't think of an instance when one might want to have one staff unmeasured and the rest with a time signature, but no doubt someone will come up with one!
Could this be catered for by a checkbox in the STave Properties Edit Dialogue which sets whether you wish the score redrawn in the time signature space or not?
No need IMHO, Beats should line up, so in the 'mixed' case there would be 'wasted' space for the not shown time sig.
This was fixed quite some time ago, and the multi-staff cases works as one might hope (as per Jojo comment in #3).
