time signature displayed incorrectly after staff size change
Windows 7, GIT commit: 3d13104
1) create new score, one instrument, 4/4 time
2) right click staff, staff properties, check "Small staff"
Result: initial time signature is displayed too low and with numbers too far apart. However, it displays correctly if you go to Inspect and change vertical offset then reset it. Also displays correctly if you save / close / reload.
Same thing happens if you change from small to normal staff size - time signature initially displays incorrectly, fixes itself on Inspection or reload.

Same symptom for sure; can't say if it's the same cause or not. I'd leave these separate for now.

My comment to the other issue about layout optimizing having possibly gone too far with time signatures is still valid: a comment from the code developers could be useful.
