Stem direction on beamed notes not imported correctly in 1.3 score
Windows 7, GIT commit: c20b96e
1) open attached score (created in 1.3), first using 1.3 then using a 2.0 build
Result: stems/beam in measure two are down in 2.0 build
Expected resulted: they are up as they are in 1.3
Looking at the MSCX file, I see the notes in measure 1 have the *beam* set to "up", whereas in measure 2, there is no "up" property on the beam - only the stem direction of the first note.
The notes in measure 1 were both entered normally, and then I went back and flipped the first note. In measure two, I hit "X" immediately after entering the first note - before there was a beam - and then entered the second note.
This construct appears reasonably often in scores I download from musescore.com.

Do you think it's just a problem on import? or is it a problem in the development version broadly?
Meaning, using 24a6b12f10, if the user enters a 8th C, press X (to switch stem up), and enter a C again, the stems and beams will switch back to down.
For me, this is unexpected and the behavior in 1.3 was better. If we decide to fix this behavior, the import would be fixed at the same time.
I made a PR https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/991
Any thought?
I think you're right. The new behavior wasn't bothering me I guess - I wouldn't normally flip beams until I was done with a beam group - but you're right, the old behavior made more sense.
