- Enter quarter notes e.g A A
- Connect them with a slur
- Drag slur (switch off automatic placement)
- Create parts
Result: slur position is reset to be automatically placed.

its unlikely that #9fa6ba5 fixed this.
Cannot reproduce as well.
AUtoplacement value set to Off doesn't survive Save/Close/Reopen. After opening the score, Autoplacement is again True.
If I understand the nature of this issue correctly this should be fixed as a part of https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4213
