In the attached score, enter tremolos on the bass or cello. Doing this causes the distance between the single lined percussion instruments (cymbal, Bass and snare drums) to increase as though the tremolos were on the staves immediately below.
The workaround consists of using the Fixed staff spacer and turning off Auto placement for the dynamics. Not a good combinations of workarounds, so I set the severity to major
Comments
Thanks for the report. Another workaround could have been to disable autoplace for the tremolo, not that anywould would be likely to discover this - but it also wouldn't have worked. Here is a PR that fixes the main bug and also makes disabling autoplace on the tremolo remove it from the skyline as it should have all along, and fixes a couple of other glitches along the way:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4758
Fixed in branch master, commit ea9305d21c
fix #285332: tremolo added to skyline of all staves

_Merge pull request #4758 from MarcSabatella/285332-tremolo-skyline

So the fix is limited to 3.1.
Correct for now. Looks like a whole bunch of stuff is being merged into master right now to go into 3.1, I believe the plan will be to pick and choose which might also make it into any given 3.0.x release, should there be any more.
