like #117136: Can't write the letters "L" and "l" in title, text and other things.?
Came up in https://musescore.org/en/node/300346 too
What operating system(s) what version(s) of MuseScore exactly? Really 3.3 (and which exactly) or rather the lates, 3.4.1?
I can't reproduce for the latter and Windows (7)
And conflicting shortcuts defined, esp. for Plugins?
I cannot reproduce too
In reply to I cannot reproduce too by Howard-C
Me neither (3.3 and 3.4.1 on OpenSuse Leap 15.1)
I think this is due to my assigning "Shift+L" as shortcut for the new "accessibility: get location" command. You probably wouldn't see it on an update, only a new install (or on revert to factory settings). Thanks for the report, should have fix soon.
Sory, I missread and missed the 'capital' part, and I'm not using the latest default shortcuts, Shift+L is a new one for accessibility
A recent regression, Marc is working on a fix
Edit: oops, Marc was quicker ;-)
Workaround is to remove that shortcut, Edit > Preferences > Shortcuts > Get Location
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/5658
@Marc: seems FRA is a boring airport but with a decent internet access ;-))
"Decent" is being charitable, but it's good enough :-).
And yes, clearing that shortcut is a workaround.

_fix #300347: capital "L" cannot be entered in text
Resolves: https://musescore.org/en/node/300347
When I added the "accessibility: get-location" command,
I made it active during text entry.
Not good if the default shortcut is a simple letter.
This PR sets the context to normal mode only._
