Note entry crash after deleting measures

  1. Create new score
  2. Ctrl+click to select the first three measures with a dotted line around them
  3. Press Del to remove the measures
  4. Press "N" to begin note entry mode

MuseScore crashes. Tested using r.2239 nightly, Windows XP

I guess the problem is removing the first measure, it removes the time signature as well.
So shorter steps to reproduce

  1. Create new score
  2. delete the 4/4 time signature
  3. Press "N" to begin note entry mode

Should we prevent the first time signature to be removed? or assume a default signature when there is none?

I agree. The time signature at the beginning of the piece should not be removed since the new first measure still has the same time signature.

It doesn't crash anymore. However the time signature still visually disappears from the start of the score after you delete the first measure.

(Tested using r. 2559 nightly, Windows XP)
