Fermatas break multimeasure rest by default
I have a score where I have used fermata over the last bar of sequences of rests to emphasise that the next entry is on cue and the bar count may be approximate. these disappear when multirest is selected (apart from one after a very long break?). I reproduced this in another test piece - same result. This was using Unstable Prerelease for Version 2.0.0 c68b 108 on windows 7. It also would be useful to be able to hide the number over a multirest in the situation of eg a drum solo of indefinite length where either a single bar or a specific number of bars is not intended. I am sure there will be a workaround for this and in other respects I am very pleased with the fantastic musescore 2 !

You can force any measure to break a multi-measure rest by right clicking it and choosing Measure Proerties, then enabling the "Break multimeasure rest" option.
The ability to hide the number does seems useful, so I am leaving this open as a feature request.
Just to clarify:
1. New score
2. Put a fermata on any measure
3. Press "M" to create multimeasure rests
Result: Fermata is hidden
Desired: Fermata is seen (breaks multimeasure rest by default)
Marc, the other feature request should go to a separate issue.
Easy workaround:
1) Select a measure -> Ctrl + T -> F2
2) Musical symbols -> Holds and pauses
3) Double-click on a fermata -> Edit the size if wished
4) Press "M"
Result (NB: you can add this fermata in a palette for immediate reuse a next time)
Fixed for 2.1.
