Revert factory settings crashes on Ubuntu 10.04

Steps to reproduce bug
1. Open Terminal in Ubuntu 10.04
Expected behavior: MuseScore should start with factory settings
Actual behavior: MuseScore starts and immediately crashes.
Discussion: MuseScore starts without any problems if I don't try to revert factory settings and type:
MuseScore version: r 2949M, beta 2
(Operating System: Ubuntu 10.04 via VirtualBox)
Here's the terminal output:
Using the default version of MuseScore (r.2619, beta 1 ) included with Ubuntu 10.04 instead of the pre-release package, I get an error dialog instead of a crash.
Could you check where TimGM6mb.sf2 is ?

It looks like a bug in the packaging of MuseScore on ubuntu.

That's fascinating; I thought I'd changed all the code paths that point to the soundfont. I'll check it out, run a trace, and try and get a fix in. Hopefully, I'll publish new prereleases tonight.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, David; I don't pay as much attention here as I should.. (For future bug reports, though, please use the "musescore" source package, not the "mscore" package, as the "mscore" package will disappear thanks to the name change).
this is fixed in 0.9.6.2 in the mscore-stable PPA, which I hope will make it into Ubuntu 10.10, and Debian:
