MuseScore 2.0.1 and later builds (haven't checked earlier versions).
Open the Master Palette, select Symbols, change from Bravura to Gonville
expected result: available glyphs from Gonville are shown
actual result: the dialog is completely empty, not a single glyph is shown.

Same issue in 2.0.0, I checked with the portable version.
Well, from what I see, the behavior is always the same since one year at least!
When I switch e.g. Emmentaler to Bravura, the new font display is immediate. But when I switch to Gonville, nothing happens, or rather, the display of the last selected font is still there.
It's only by acting on the side scroll bar that one can see that the Gonville window is blank.
As I said, I always see the same thing (I tried on various nightlies in the last months until the 2014, May 19)
Thanks for checking

Gootville.otf still define all the smufl codepoints even if there is nothing drawn. It should be changed to remove the non implemented glyphs.
Yes, that was my impression too. This also prevent fallback to Bravura, doesn't it?
On the other hand it does create visibility of what is missing...
Edit: whow, it is missing a lot of glyphs!
Regarding the visibility, loading gootville.otf in fontforge also show the missing glyphs.
