Trill stops after first part of tied note

To reproduce, create a score containing a tied note. Add a trill to the first note of that tie (not a trill line, as that doesn't have any effect on playback in the 2.0.2 nightles; just the "tr" symbol from the Articulations & Ornaments palette). Play back. Result: at the second half (or second two thirds, or whatever) of the tied note, the trill stops and sustains the last note that was played as part of the trill.

If the note sustained was the same as the original note, or the same as the note that it actually is, this might be considered a feature request, but the note that sustains is different from the note on the staff, so this is a bug.

Hi Zack, you can call it a bug if you want. In my opinion the implementation that I did some weeks ago has lots and lots and lots of limitations. Many of these limitations might be considered bugs by some people. But I personally just consider them limitations. The implementation needs to be extended (enhanced) to cover more cases.

The question going forward is: how correct and complete does the implementation need to be to be useful? Which additional features need to be implemented to be able to cover the majority of the use cases?

Handling tied notes is one such case, because they are indeed pretty common. I expect the feature to be noncontroversial.
