Tempo/Play Panel

Tempo or play panel not working. I assigned a tempo to my song at =80, however, the program is giving me a steady tempo of =100. When I upload the song, it keeps on giving me =100 and it is too fast to be appreciated.

Please attach the score file or give into it
The play panel is for temporary overrides to the tempo only. The actual tempo is set by adding a tempo text to your score, as explained in the Handbook.
the default speed, in absence of a tempo text, is 120 BPM, so I assume that a tempo text has been used?

Well, as long as we're assuming, my assumption is he tried setting 80% as the scaling factor in the Play Panel expecting this to result in a tempo of 80 BPM, when it really resulted in 80% of 120 which is 96, which is close to 100 :-). This is behaving as it should, so I am closing this.
To the OP: if you have further problems, please use the Supprot forum to ask for help - see "Help / Ask for Help" from within MuseScore. And it usually helps to attach the specific score you are having problems with and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
