Creating a figured bass, saving it and close the file. When opening the file back, continuation lines have disappeared.

I have attached an example. First, I created the score contained in file ‘basseDonnee19-anc.pdf’, with a figured bass. Then, I had to correct some mistake. When I opened the file back, continuation lines in the figured bass have disappeared. I have deleted the whole figured bass and then remade it, but sometimes continuation lines did not appear (see file ‘basseDonne19.pdf’). When I close and open the file back, most continuation lines have disappeared (see file ‘basseDonnee19-erreurs.pdf’).

I also attach to this bug the MSCZ file.

This bug did not occur just for this score. Actually, I always get it.

Well, I have use issue research engine and did not find issue #293998. My bad.

Now, I am not that certain current issue is a duplicate: I have installed Musescore 3.4. Though things are much better (see attached files), there are still some troubles: measure 6, time 2, prolongation line do not appear, as well as measure 8 time 2, measure 12 time 3, measure 14 time 2 and measure 14 time 3.

I'm not sure you entered these, did you set their durations explicitly with Ctrl+number? Trying to see what the common element here is but don't know enough about how these are supposed to work to be able to see quickly. Can you provide steps to reproduce one of these failure cases from scratch (eg, starting from an empty score)?

I can assure you I have, but as they do not appear, I understand quite well the reason you asked.

> did you set their durations explicitly with Ctrl+number?

No. Here is how I have done measure 6 time 2—I have used the same procedure everywhere else:

At time 2, I have entered this:

7__
+__

Then, I have used space bar to go to the next 16th note and entered:

__
__

And so forth.

As you can see, most of the time it worked well, but from time to time the continuation bar do not appear.

On version 3.2, yes, I can. But I just installed version 3.4.2 and now the problem appear to be slightly different—my guess is bug fixes have solved most of the problem, but for few details. I have to investigate further to be able to reproduce it from scratch. I hope I will be able to do this soon.

Ok thanks. For the record, I was missing the word “how” in the sentence you quoted - I’m not sure how you entered these. I certainly wasn’t doubting that you did!
