When highlighting a 4-notes chord and placing a dynamic, 4 are placed rather than 1
- On a staff, input any combination of notes as a chord.
- Highlight the chord, and double-click a dynamics text in the palette.
When doing this, it's expected that it will place a single dynamic for the entire chord. However, multiple dynamics are placed (1 for each note in the chord) instead. This causes eventual performance issues and slowdown, especially in larger scores. Check the attached score for more info.

I have the impression that it is 'by design'.
Select one note and you'll have one dynamic. A Chord is basically a group of elements (as range).
The same behavior is in 2.2.1. So, it is like a feature request :)
As a dynamic applied to staff or part (and a feature request exists to make it apply to a voice too), having multiple per chord is a bug to me. They really should attach to chords, not notes.

I agree this is a bug. If the unlearned user selected the chord, enters the dynamic and decides that mf is too loud and changes the velocity down to 70, they may or may not select the one that is controlling the sound of the chord. The may or may not be happy with the results. There is also never a need for 2 or more dynamics stacked one on top of another.
