When you create a copyright text, this text placed at the bottom of the page by default.

MuseScore allows you to move it, great! I need to move it, since I want to print the PDF with no adjustment and if the copyright text is right at the bottom of the screen, it gets cut off.

When you save the document and reopen it, the position is back to the bottom position of the screen.

MuseScore 1.1.

Can't you (as a workaround) just adjust the paper format resp. boundaries or the copyright placement default? (German: Menü/Darstellung/Seiteneinstellung/Seitengröße bzw. Ränder/unten oder Menü/Format/Text-Stilvorgaben bearbeiten/Urheberrecht/Versatz/Y)

OK, the first suggestion didn't work
English:
Layput > Page Settings: Bottom Margin.

The second suggestion DID WORK:
English:
Style > Edit Text Style: Select Copyright. Adjust Y from -10mm to -20mm. Why is it negative?
Anyway, this is a good workaround.

I believe it is negativ because it is relativ to the bottom page border (relY=100%)?
And the default, on a clean and fresh install, seems to be -15mm

Status (old) needs info active

Using nightly MuseScoreNightly-2013-09-28-1309-361ce83.

I read that "Copyright text" is not a separate item any more, instead, the copyright can be placed into the footer via File > Info.

As far as I can see, the footer text cannot be moved, its placement can be changed in Style > Text, Footer.

So this bug is no longer relevant.
