For several weeks now, MuseScore 2.0.3 has been crashing after exporting to an mp3 than closing the file, trying to save it, almost any file action.

Windows 10 Pro on a Dell XPS 8500 intel Core i7-3770, 3.4Ghz, 32 GB RAM, 64 bit OS, x64 based processor.

It been happening on every score I create or edit for the last several weeks. I'll try reverting to factory settings, but the only think I can think of that I changed was the default paper size.

Reset to Factory seems to have taken care of the issue. Not sure why it may have happened, only changed default paper size and from basic to advanced. Something must have gotten corrupted along the way...

Only change was to put the program in advanced mode and am using the mp3 encoder library that was recommended. Windows 10 Pro, always kept up to date. Score and MP3s saved to an external MP3 drive.

Again, we need precise steps to reproduce the problem in order to investigate. Please attach any of the specific scores you are having trouble with and give step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

The attached file is one of the practice files I was generating that did it.

- I set the volume (F11) to about two thirds full.
- I edited the file and saved it to an external USB3 drive. Editing involved removing Alto, Soprano and Bass notes from the score piano part and muted the vocal part
- I exported the file to an mp3 at the same file location using the recommended mp3 encoder
- I closed the file tab
- the program crashed

When I try to do it on purpose, it doesn't always happen. I included the full score and one of the edited files that it happened with.

Chances are pretty good the problem has nothing to do with mp3 export, but everything to do with what specifically you did when editing the files. I tried doing what you suggested but no crash for me. If you find *precise* steps to reproduce the problem *reliably*, do let us know.
