shift-<note> does not add note to chord just entered
Using nightly bb4af59 (and other nightly builds), after entering a note, you cannot add a note to the chord using shift-. Steps to reproduce
1. start with emtpy score
2. click first measure
3. N
4. C, shift-E, shift-G
Expected result: a C major chord on the first beat
Actual result: the C only. The shift-E and shift-G have no effect
If you move the cursor back and then forward again, then shift-E works as expected. You have to repeat this again for the shift-G.
I would also say the appearance of the cursor motion is deceiving, as upon note entry it looks like it moves past the note you just entered, but then a single left arrow moves it two spaces back. But I don't fully understand how it is supposed to look.

Bump to critical. The bug prevents the usage of one of the core feature of MuseScore.
Marc, could you also add operating system to your report :)?
Sorry, I was sort of hoping the new report bug feature would automatically include all necessary config info. I encountered this on Vista. I just spent the last couple of days breaking in a new Windows 7 computer, and can confirm the bug exists there too (MuseScore revision ba31a1b).
Probably linked with #17906: Using MIDI input to input chords causes crash
