Progress bar appears when starting the program
If starting mscore-3.0, a small popup window appears, containg no text and only a cancel button.
I never saw this. Please see attachment containg screenshot.
This behavior appears each time mscore is started.

This looks something like the SFZ loading progress bar. Does this appear after a revert to factory settings?
Resetting to factory defaults doesn't help. Getting till this small window. (Question: what is SFZ?)
Sound sample libraries: https://musescore.org/en/node/36171#specialised
In addition to SoundFont files, MuseScore also has some support for the SFZ format

1) Open "My First Score"
2) Wait a few seconds
Result: a loading window (mp3 I guess ?) appears. Escape solves the problem.
- This nightly works: 4b5bf8c
- The change occurs with the next one: 9d19b5b
So, a side effect of this last commit/nightly, or of the previous commit: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/commit/63cbfeb7a7144c1659132a2a8…
Fixed in branch master, commit 2ba04c7e49
fix #184956: Progress bar appears when starting the program
Similar to #71001: 'loading' window at startup does not close if using Qt library version == 5.5.0 (which current arch linux release uses) and #191371: modal Cancel Popup window when MuseScore starts just for 2.x?
Confirmed!
