can you reproduce this issue in a recent nighly build? 1.3 won't receive further fixes.
Hmm, I don#t think it is a bug in the first place, stave "1" does have notes in voice 1 (in that first measure on second page), so when you copy it to Guitar, you overwrite the rest generated by copying akk to Guit.
Edit: forget this. I believe you accidentially deleted that rest. See below how to get it back
and i do not seem to be able to delete the 3rd bar without the 1.3. repaet line disappearing...
Indeed, the volta belonts to the measure, if you delete the measure, you delete the volta as well.
Hmm, to get the rest back, swap voice 1 and 4 (twice)
Reason: voice 1 rests cannnot get deleted, all others can
the volta belongs to th eprevious measure.
the rest should be in voice 4
"I believe you accidentially deleted that rest"
believe as you wish, i did not.
"swap voice 1 and 4 (twice)"
that worked fine, thanks :)
Hmm, you're right, the rest gets lost on the copy already! Probably a bug.
The volta's end seems to belong to the next measure, deleting that makes it lose its end, so it goes too. This may be a bug, not sure.
But in order to get both fixed, we'd need to check whether they exist in a current nighly build.
Edit: just checked: the rest does not disappear in f3e7de1
And the voltas don't get lost if the following measure gets deleted, so no problem there any more ;-)
I think it's better to 'close', since nothing has been fixed.
okay, i do not know how a nightlybuilt but am willing to learn.
Can you describe the terminal commands to install(?) one?
Thanks!
see http://musescore.org/en/download#nightly
And for Linux see http://prereleases.musescore.org/linux/nightly/
Note though that there are currently problems with the Linux nightly builds,
see #20743: [Linux] Error when launching a nightly build: binary file
Yes i am on Linux
it looks pretty overwhelming, i think i will leave that for the Pro's #20743: [Linux] Error when launching a nightly build: binary file
Thanks anyway!
