Extending the pedal line past the last measure breaks its edit mode
Hi, if the pedal line is extended (in edit mode) past the last measure in the score row, the editing doesn't work anymore as expected: pressing the left arrow won't move the right ending back.
After exiting edit mode, a portion of the pedal line appears in the next score row, altough it isn't editable as usual.
This looks in part related to #16626: Pedal lines & hairpins cannot be extended to next system

The referenced bug issue #16626: Pedal lines & hairpins cannot be extended to next system was originally talking about something else. When I went to investigate, I saw that pedals (and hairpins) could no longer be extended across systems at all, so I changed the description, and now it's definitely the same as this one. SInce that one was filed earlier and includes a sample score and some precise steps to reproduce, I'm closing this one as a duplicate.
