In utilizing the Tuple dialogue, options are provided for Auto/Bracket/None.
The suggestion is this: have the radio buttons default to the selection that is signified by the Score's Preference->Style->Tuple settings. That is, if the Style is set so that Tuples are "None" for bracket, then when utilizing the dialogue box, have the radio button default to "None" instead of the top choice which is "Bracket".

This way, if the user forgets to change those settings in the dialogue box, any resulting tuple from the dialogue box will be in uniform with the style's settings.

There is also another issue here which is more of a bug than a suggestion: any tuples created through the dialogue box won't honor those style settings but only stick with their own personal settings utilized at creation. After this though, if the user saves the score and re-opens, the tuple reverts to the score's style's setting and not what was shown from the tuple dialogue. This is inconsistent and ought to be fixed up, yet it is definitely minor, but it can be confusing to a user in the process.

For an example set of steps:
1) New score
2) Create a tuple via default shortcut
3) Change Style->Tuple Number to Ratio for instance
Result: Tuple is updated accordingly.

4) Now, create another tuple but this time via Add->Tuples->Other
5) Press ok. The tuple will not be in ratio format.
One can't argue "but that's because the options were set to Automatic according to the dialogue box. Why? Because, e.g.:

6) Save score, close, re-open.
7) Both tuples are now in ratio format.
