no visual feedback when toggling item visibility
When toggling the visibility of an item using the 'V' key, there is no visual feedback to indicate that anything has happened. Something like changing to a fainter hue of blue for selected invisible items would make this more clear to the user.
I am using MuseScore nightly e255575 on Kubuntu 14.04 64-bit.
Comments
Toggling visibility on middle C causes the staff line on which the note sits (sorry, I don't know the technical term) to lighten. There is no change in appearance to the note itself though.
'ledger line' is the term you're looking for
@awelch83, are you still on this?
Fixed in branch master, commit 1d51dd7c53
fix #46046: Add tint to highlighted non-visible notes
Can we have that for 2.2 too?
see https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/3388, but a simple cherry-pick of 1d51dd7c53 onto the 2.2 branch should do too
PR got closed
git cherry-pick 1d51dd7c53
should still work though? No it doesn't.
Oh, indeed. It isn't too difficult though
See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/3534
Seems to work just fine too
